    What is a high pressure homogenizer?

    The high-pressure homogenizer is the machine that homogenizes the heterogeneous fluid products as a result of micronizing by applying high pressure.

    How does a homogenizer work?

    The heterogeneous fluid product or products are forced to pass through a narrow fenestration under high pressure. The particles gain high speed due to Bernoulli’s principle when passing through the narrow fenestration under the high pressure. Large particles are subjected to cavitation, turbulence, and shear forces in the homogenization valve. With the effect of these forces, the micronized particles become homogeneous.

    What does a homogenizer do?

    It converts the heterogeneous product into a homogeneous structure.

    How does a 2 stage homogenizer work?

    The homogenization process is carried out 2 times consecutively in the homogenizer. For example, the product passing through the homogenizer at a pressure of 200 bar in the first stage is homogenized for the second time in the same homogenizer at a pressure of 40 bar in the second stage. The aim is to keep the cavitation at the desired level and to ensure regular flow and distribution.
